Differences Explained

The first major difference between the two toilet seat bidets is the automatic opening and closing of the lid and seat.  With the s350e, you can have the toilet lid (or the lid and seat) open and close automatically via sensors.  This function can be turned on and off or adjusted in the settings of the remote.  It is not available in the S300e.

The next major difference is the night light.  Toto installed a soft light in the S350e that will light up when you move towards the toilet and turn off as you leave.  This feature is useful for people who use the toilet at night.  For some people it’s hard to sleep once you’re awaken by a bright bathroom light.  The night light on the S350e is a gentle light that is bright enough so that you can see, yet dim enough so that it won’t cause you to be awaken fully.  Once again this feature is not available in the S300e.

And finally, there is a price difference (MSRP) of roughly $150 between the two toilet seat bidets.  So essentially, if you like having the auto lid/seat and the night light, you would buy the S350e for an extra $150.

We hope this clarifies things between the S300e and S350e and helps with your decision!
